Personality

In many ways, Aaron is simply a relatively normal young boy. He's sensitive though, and ~~more than~~ a little cowardly, with a tendency towards being over emotional...but he has a good heart. Normally cheerful, Aaron tries not to let himself get too caught up in being wistful or too lost in his past. It isn't often that he'll talk overmuch about what he went through...but sometimes he'll open up and talk about himself, if he feels he can trust someone. Usually these periods of self-talkative don't last for long however, and he will slip into silence and turn away with a wistful glint in his eye.

Beyond that, Aaron is eternally curious, wanting to know what he can about other people and how he can possibly help them. His friends are his world...and while not a fighter he will stand at their side and show his support. Just don't ask him to fight...he doesn't like violence. It's rather scary and he's painfully aware of his own weaknesses. Normally, Aaron doesn't like confrontation, and often shies away from potential fights. He's well aware of his own shortcomings, both physical and emotional, and while he is trying to better himself, typical teenage laziness gets in the way. That, and of course his never-ending quest to find his former adoptive parent and be forgiven.

Of course, this changes in his werewolf form. Aaron is young, and doesn't know the first thing about how to control it. Because of this, on the 15th of each month, at night when he transforms, he tries to chain himself to a wall, or otherwise lock himself away, because he cannot control what he does. That form is too wild, too raw and primal, and Aaron is unaware of what he does when in that form. It stays that way until he transforms back at dawn, and then he can free himself and set about business and life as normal.

Current Relationships

Cloud: Someone Aaron cares for deeply. A person who has recently helped him gain some confidence in himself, even if he worries constantly about Jenova's curse on the other now.
Viral: The first person who contacted Aaron through the journals, and someone who has continuously showed Aaron that he could live for himself without fear. Aaron has taken it upon himself to prove to the Beastman that he is worth his time and affections, and is proud to think of Viral as his dad and to be worthy of being the Beastman's ~~adopted~~ son.
Greed: Aaron's employer, and someone he trusts a great deal. Despite the name (or because of it), Aaron feels like he's been collected into a sort of family at the Devil's Nest, and enjoys pestering the Homunculi now and then ~~or crying on his shoulder on the rare occasion~~.
Naruto: One of his best friends in Purgatory. Naruto makes Aaron want to be brave and show that he's worthy of his friendship, even though he appreciates Naruto's protective moments more than he can admit. Naruto is someone he trusts completely, and wishes he could help more when it comes to the rift between him and Sasuke.
Sasori: At one time, he (naively) thought Sasori worth friendship, but the other proved his true colors soon enough. Even now, Aaron fears him to some small degree, but has forced himself to put the majority of that fear behind him, for the sake of growing up and facing his demons.

Old Relationships

Sasuke: A bittersweet memory. Someone Aaron pined for and worries about, even if he isn't even in Purgatory anymore. Aaron would do nearly anything for Sasuke, or to prove himself to the other, and just wants to see him happy.
Nebiros: Aaron's surrogate father, and although gone, someone Aaron both respected and feared. He loved Nebiros a great deal, even if he could never (after tasting freedom) resign himself fully to Nebiros and Nebiros alone. It's a guilt that still weighs him down, but he's happy thinking that Nebiros found salvation and might start over without him.
Itachi: Someone Aaron fears, but has a healthy dose of respect for as well. He's met him in person twice, and is greatly intimidated by him, but Itachi is someone he would rather not catch the attention of often. He's willing to stand up to him when it counts, but would rather avoid him.
Kimimaro: Now gone, he was Aaron's sensei and elder brother. He was someone who treated Aaron like he could, and let him believe in himself. He attributes a great deal of his maturing during his time in Purgatory to Kimimaro and his tutelage.
